Henderson is located five miles southeast of Las Vegas in Clark County, Nevada.  It is currently one of the fastest growing cities in Nevada and, as of 2004 census estimates, has a population of approximately 250,000 residents.  However, Henderson is not a major metropolitan city in that it is almost completely comprised of master-planned communities and golf course homes.  Henderson has been bestowed such honors as nationally accredited fire, police, parks and recreation departments, ranked one of the cities with lowest property tax in Nevada, ranked as child friendly, rated number three best place to retire in the U.S. just to name a few.  Henderson is recognized as the gateway community to the Las Vegas region.
The master-planned communities of Green Valley, Seven Hills, Silverado Ranch, Southern Highlands, Summerlin and Lake Las Vegas, the spectacular lakeside resort town, are all located in or near Henderson.  That is how folks live here, in peaceful and luxurious communities full of small town warmth and charm.  At the same time, they enjoy access to phenomenal retail and shopping centers, Recreation and sports complexes, exquisite dining and sizzling entertainment and nightlife, al just a five minute drive away.
