Parks & Recreation in Clark County

Folks who love the outdoors, outdoor sports and recreation in Clark County, Nevada enjoy a wonderful parks and recreation infrastructure for family members of all ages.  There are parks and recreation areas with amenities such as basketball courts, sand volleyball pits, horseshoe pits, lighted baseball diamonds, lighted tennis courts and racquetball courts.  There are botanical gardens, conservatories, wetlands and arboretums for those of you who love nature studies.  And for those who love hiking, horseback riding or mountain biking, there are miles and miles of trails to explore.  Boating and fishing buffs will find clear natural lakes for a great day out on the water.  For the more hardcore, there are 18; yes, I said 18, skate parks in total!  From the Lake Mead National Recreation Area that covers twice the land area of Rhode Island, to the Roman inspired gardens at the Fountains at Caesars Palace with their statues and magnificent fountains, there is truly something for everyone here.
